It's an age-old problem: liquid soaps and shower gels cleanse the skin but they also dry it out by removing natural oils and greases. Another problem frequently associated with cleansing products on account of the surfactants they necessarily contain is irritation of skin mucous membranes. This irritation can be widely reduced with lathering agents containing silicones. Only then can cleansing lotions do their job: turning cleansing routines into a real pleasure.
