The GSC is a not-for-profit, international organization whose mission is to promote the safe use and stewardship of silicones globally.
To accomplish this mission, the GSC anticipates and identifies environmental, health and safety initiatives and co-ordinates strategies and activities of the three regional silicone associations in North America, Europe and Japan.
GSC also encourages industry communication with international environmental, health, and safety organizations, such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the Organisation of Economic and Community Development (OECD), and the United Nations (UN).
Formed in 1993, GSC represents companies that produce and sell silicone products globally.
